Lindsay Laskowski

Lindsay Laskowski currently works as a Lead Facilities Engineer for Chevron's MidContinent Alaska Business Unit managing a Major Plant Expansion for a domestic gas plant. She graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Chemical Engineering in 2002. Lindsay started her oil and gas career as a process engineer with McDermott International Engineering and obtained her Engineering in Training Certification. She focused on the topside process and production equipment for offshore platform production. In January of 2006, she joined Chevron's Energy Technology Company as a LNG Process Engineer where she focused on new technology development, published papers and has a patent pending. Lindsay transferred to the CO2 Major Capital Projects group in 2008 as the gas plant base business engineer leading and executing many projects including a major plant turnaround. Her success led her to the current assignment as the project manager of the expansion where she manages a full cross-functional project design team. Lindsay was recognized in Chevron as a Future Leader in 2009. Concurrently, she serves as an active recruiting team lead and as a mentor for several employees. Lindsay is currently pursuing her MBA with a focus in International Project Management from the University of Texas at Dallas.


Lindsay was an active participant in Society of Women Engineers while in college and increased her participation following graduation in the Houston Area Section (SWE-HA). Lindsay coordinated and facilitated the FY05 Professional Development Conference and received the SWE-HA Distinguished Volunteer Award for her participation and involvement in FY06. Lindsay had an active role in the Engineering Minds EWeek activities as well as other outreach programs. In FY07 she took a more active role as treasurer followed by President in FY08 and Section Rep in FY09. Lindsay was SWE-HA 2008 Young Engineer of the Year. Lindsay has continued to participate and be vocal at local outreach events and through participation at the SWE National Conferences. Lindsay also serves on the AIChE subcommittee for OTC as well as a session chair and volunteers for Special Olympics Texas.
