Jessica F. Albert, PE

Jessica F. Albert is employed by The Dow Chemical Company as a process engineer.  She recently returned from a six month assignment in South Carolina as part of the project team designing a new acrylic acid plant in Saudi Arabia.  She has previous work experience with Rohm and Haas (now Dow) and Eli Lilly Pharmaceuticals . She holds a B.S. in chemical engineering with a minor in environmental engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.

She passed her PE exam in chemical engineering in fall 2010.  Jessica was honored as a distinguished volunteer for 2009 for the Houston Area SWE Chapter and has been an active member for two years.   She helped the University of Houston coordinate volunteers for 2009 Regional Conference, provided assistance with the scholarship nomination process and participated in the 2010 WOW Engineering Event, among other events.   She also helped lead Rohm and Haas' SWE group and is now working on getting similar activities going that were briefly interrupted by the acquisition of Rohm and Haas by Dow.   She is eager to become more involved with her time and energy and believes that the treasurer position provides the perfect opportunity!
