Ms. Lang is a licensed engineer in the state of Texas, a senior member of the Society of Women Engineers and a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers. She possesses over 15 years of broad experience in civil / structural design and project management, working for major oil & gas consultants, land development consultants and currently Rinker Materials, a reinforced concrete culvert manufacturer.

Since joining in 2004, Ms. Lang has served SWE in the Houston Area (C002) and in the Region C , Gulf Coast Sections. Her local SWE experience includes Section Representative, Vice President - Internal, Treasurer, multiple chairs and volunteer positions. Her Region C experience includes Awards Co-Chair, Region C Conference presenter and Region C election teller.

Ms. Lang routinely participates in STEM outreach programs. She is a member of the Lamar University Civil Engineering Advisory Council. She is also a sub-permitted wildlife rehabilitator in Texas and a member of the Texas Wildlife Rehabilitation Center (TWRC) education outreach team.
